Australia launches bid for 2029-2030 UN Security Council seat

Anthony Albanese has launched Australia's bid for a non-permanent UN Security Council seat in 2029-2030. The election is in June 2028. Australia, which last served in 2013-2014, is campaigning under the slogan 'we listen, we partner, we protect'. The bid continues a candidacy first announced in 2015.
