Labour would separate Foodstuffs and Woolworths from wholesale arms

Labour would require Foodstuffs and Woolworths to run wholesale operations separately from retail if it wins November's election, commerce spokesperson Arena Williams said. The plan would create Foodstuffs Wholesale and Woolworths Wholesale. Labour says it would give smaller grocers more supply options and make it easier for new supermarkets to open.
