Pakistani forces end 20-hour standoff at Kohat police compound

Pakistani security forces ended a 20-hour standoff at the Kohat police compound on September 19. The assault began September 18 when a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a mosque, then gunmen stormed the facility. Police say six gunmen were killed and that one attacker hit a nearby intelligence agency office.
