Western Australia issues first catch-and-kill shark order in 10 years after fatal attack

Western Australia authorised fisheries officers to catch and kill a great white shark after Friday's fatal attack on 63-year-old swimmer Greg O'Neill at Perth's Sorrento Beach. Minister Jackie Jarvis cited exceptional circumstances after police identified the shark Saturday. Great whites are protected in Australia; officials say this is the first such order in 10 years.
