Yemen anti-Houthi offensive on Sanaa collapses, west coast lost

Yemen's planned anti-Houthi assault on Sanaa collapsed into a rout, with more than 15 brigades defeated and the entire west coast falling to Houthi forces. As many as 30,000 well-equipped fighters retreated. UN-recognised government forces are regrouping to try to capture the Kahbob mountains to block Houthi movement toward Bab al-Mandab strait.
