Hacktron researchers used Claude to breach OpenAI employee accounts and private GitHub

A three-person Hacktron AI team used a researcher version of Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.8 to breach OpenAI under its bug-bounty program in under 72 hours. The team chained two critical vulnerabilities to take over multiple employee ChatGPT accounts, reaching OpenAI's software and private GitHub environment.
