UN Announces Google-Backed Data Commons for AI Agents

The United Nations announced September 17, 2026 it is working with Google to launch the UN System Data Commons, built on Google's open-source Data Commons platform to replace UNData. It enables natural-language search across UN agencies and direct AI agent access via Model Context Protocol.
