Defrocked Boston priest depicted in 'Spotlight' dies in Maine custody at 83

Ronald Paquin, the defrocked Boston priest shown admitting abuse in the film Spotlight, died in custody 11 September at age 83. Maine corrections officials said he was held at Mountain View facility in Charleston. His abuse was first exposed by the Boston Globe Spotlight team, leading to a 2002 guilty plea and defrocking.
