Australia barred assessors from overriding aged-care funding algorithm

Australia's Support at Home funding algorithm, inside the Integrated Assessment Tool, took effect 1 November with assessors given no legal discretion to override it under the Aged Care Rules 2025. The department had previously told assessors they could override, and built the function, but the law closed it off.
