13th Met officer sacked over Charing Cross BBC investigation

PC Mason O'Connor has been dismissed from the Metropolitan Police for telling a female colleague he "hoped you get raped on your way to Waterloo" while off duty in a pub in October 2024. He is the 13th officer sacked over the BBC Panorama undercover investigation into misogyny and racism at Charing Cross. He is barred from rejoining.
