DOJ Alleges Binance Was Used to Funnel $1.5B in Crypto to Iran's Military

Federal prosecutors allege several companies moved about $1.5 billion in cryptocurrency through Binance to Iran to fund its military. The claim came in a forfeiture complaint seeking to seize $61 million in crypto sent through interrelated wallets, some of which allegedly transited the U.S. financial system.
