Alberta NDP declares victory in Calgary-Shaw byelection

The Alberta NDP declared victory in the Calgary-Shaw byelection on September 14. Unofficial results gave Kyle Campbell 7,461 votes, ahead of UCP candidate Mike Derry with 6,879. Premier Danielle Smith congratulated Campbell and said her government would work with him.
