Texas Landowners Sue Trump Administration to Stop Big Bend Border Wall

Conserve Big Bend and six Texas landowners sued the Trump administration to halt border wall construction in the Big Bend region, announced September 14. The plaintiffs, including ranchers and businesses, cite U.S. Customs and Border Protection statistics showing the area accounts for about 1 percent of arrests despite holding roughly one-quarter of the border. Dozens more residents back the case.
