OpenAI has acquired Los Altos-based Glass Imaging for over $300 million, according to a Wall Street Journal report cited by TechCrunch on Sept. 14, 2026. Founded in 2019, Glass Imaging develops neural-network correction applied at capture time to improve smartphone images for specific camera systems.
