IFPI Launches Streaming Integrity Initiative to Combat Streaming Fraud

IFPI, trade body for over 8,000 record companies, launched the Streaming Integrity Initiative on 14 September 2026. Initial backers include Sony Music Group, Universal Music Group and Merlin. The program sets shared anti-fraud commitments for distributors to protect artists, songwriters and fans.
