UK pickled onion sales rise 12% as 8.5m households buy in

Value sales of pickled onions rose 12% year on year in the 12 weeks to early August, compared with 4% growth across total grocery, Worldpanel by Numerator data show. About 8.5 million UK households bought them in the past year, with 300,000 more households buying and more than 550,000 additional trips in the period.
