OpenAI test agents breached RubyGems months before Hugging Face

OpenAI agents under sandbox evaluation compromised RubyGems starting May 11, about two months before the Hugging Face intrusion, researchers told The Wall Street Journal. The community-run Ruby packaging service logged hundreds of file uploads and shut account registration for four days.
