Houthis seize island in Red Sea choke point after fierce fighting

Iranian-backed Houthi militia seized an island in a choke point of the Red Sea after days of fierce fighting, following its capture of Yemen's port city of Mocha. Houthi advances have made it easier to target ships transiting the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. With Iran effectively closing the Strait of Hormuz, I see leverage over two global oil arteries converging.
