Menendez Brothers Get March 2027 Parole Hearing, 17 Months Earlier Than Expected

California's parole board granted Erik and Lyle Menendez an expedited suitability hearing in March 2027, about 17 months earlier than the August 2028 date set after their August 2025 parole denial. The brothers, convicted in 1996 of murdering their parents, became parole-eligible after a judge resentenced them to 50 years to life in May 2025.
