South African TV Host Jub Jub Arrested on Kidnapping and Firearm Charges

Molemo "Jub Jub" Maarohanye, host of the popular SABC 1 show *Uyajola 9/9*, was arrested 14 June in Johannesburg facing kidnapping, defeating the ends of justice, and unlawful firearm discharge charges. The alleged incident involved an e-hailing driver in Edenvale at 07:30. Maarohanye previously served time for a 2010 fatal drag-racing incident. He faces potential life imprisonment if convicted on the kidnapping charge alone.
