US Seizes Domains of China-Linked Hacking Platforms That Targeted NASA, Federal Reserve, and Senate

The Justice Department and FBI seized domains powering two China-linked hacking platforms, QScan and QTRouter, active since at least 2018. Targets included NASA, the Federal Reserve, the US Senate, and the DOJ itself. The platforms infected thousands of internet-connected devices to route attacks through non-Chinese IP addresses. Operator Nanjing Xinjiuwei's clients included China's Ministry of State Security and PLA.
