NATO allies ran independent Afghan resettlement rules despite co-ordinated mission, new report finds

A report by Local Staff International and AfghanEvac, released Aug. 13, 2026, documents that during the Afghanistan evacuation each NATO country set its own resettlement rules for locally engaged staff.
