
Luxon calls urgent caucus meeting after MMP referendum call blindsides MPs
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon called an urgent National caucus meeting for Wednesday after his impromptu talkback radio call for an MMP referendum blindsided his own MPs. Chris Bishop publicly backed Luxon and warned colleagues against leaking. The election is 90 days out. Former PM Sir John Key was reported to be making calls on Luxon's leadership.
