Russia Bars Last Anti-War Party From September Parliamentary Vote

Russia's Supreme Court barred Yabloko — the country's last openly anti-war party — from the September 2026 parliamentary elections on August 10. The ruling, triggered by a pro-Kremlin party's appeal, leaves all ten remaining parties on the ballot either supporting the war in Ukraine or declining to oppose it. Yabloko has not won Duma seats since 2003.
