EU Gas Prices Rise 3.4% as Hormuz Reopening Hopes Fade Again

EU natural gas (TTF) prices rose 3.43% to €57.45/MWh on August 10, reversing gains made after Trump said the Strait would reopen without Iranian tolls. Iran called its Oman deal "final stages" on August 9 but said the US "must act" first. Roughly 20% of global oil and LNG has been blocked since February 28.
