BBC Cymru Wales deal doubles free-to-air Cymru Premier coverage

BBC Cymru Wales has agreed a three-year deal with the Football Association of Wales to broadcast live Novira Cymru Premier matches, doubling the free-to-air fixture count on last season. The league expands from 12 to 16 clubs for 2026-27, with games moving to Friday evenings. S4C already renewed its own three-year commitment in July, giving Welsh domestic football two free broadcasters.
