BFI London Film Festival puts producers centre stage for 70th edition

The BFI London Film Festival has named producers Pippa Harris and James Wilson as headline figures of its 70th edition industry programme, Variety reports. Festival director Kristy Matheson said the forum puts a spotlight on producers and their role in shepherding artistic visions to the screen. Harris and Wilson will each give spotlight conversations. The festival runs 7–18 October 2026; full programme arrives mid-September.
