Netflix Starts Production on 'Ad Vitam' Sequel with Guillaume Canet

Netflix has begun production on "Ad Vitam Eternam," sequel to its 2025 French action thriller "Ad Vitam," per Variety. Guillaume Canet returns as Franck Lazareff, a former GIGN operator. Ludovic Colbeau-Justin directs, replacing Rodolphe Lauga. Sophie Marceau and Mathieu Amalric join the cast. The first film reached No. 9 on Netflix's most popular non-English film chart. Shoot locations span Ile-de-France, Normandy, Savoie and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. No release date is set.
