The Singer builds captioning into the staging at Edinburgh Fringe

*The Singer*, a gig-theatre piece by Cora Bissett with songs by KT Tunstall, opened at the Traverse Theatre on 9 August 2026. Co-produced by Dundee Rep and Solar Bear, it folds accessibility into the production: Daniel Hughes's on-stage captioning uses blurs, fades and wipes so text sits alongside the action. The show also screens at the Edinburgh Deaf Festival. Fringe run continues to 30 August; Lemon Tree, Aberdeen, 9–12 September.
