Elaine C Smith returns to Traverse main stage after 26 years for Fringe premiere

Elaine C Smith returns to the Traverse Theatre's main stage after 26 years, starring in the world premiere of *Cathy*, a new comedy written and directed by Eilidh Loan as part of TravFest26. The production runs 31 July–30 August 2026 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Loan drew on her own grandmother's experience of grief and cancer survival.
