Filmotor takes world sales on Andrei Kutsila's 'Letters From the Silenced Country' ahead of Venice premiere

Filmotor has acquired world sales rights for "Letters From the Silenced Country," a partly animated documentary by Belarusian filmmaker Andrei Kutsila, ahead of its world premiere at the 83rd Venice Film Festival. The film screens in Venice Open — Out of Competition. Kutsila, now based in Poland after fleeing Belarus post-2020 protests, won IDFA for "Summa" and Warsaw's Best Feature Documentary award for "When Flowers Are Not Silent."
