Patra Spanou Film takes world sales rights to Rodrigo Plá's 'The Newcomers' after Locarno premiere

Düsseldorf-based Patra Spanou Film acquired world sales rights — meaning it will license the title territory by territory to distributors and festivals — to Rodrigo Plá's first children's film "The Newcomers" ("Los nuevos"), per Variety (2026-08-10). The 79-minute feature, produced by Buenaventura Cine and Mr. Miyagi Films, premiered in Locarno's Kids Screenings section.
