Iraola brings Bielsa's blueprint to Liverpool: high full-backs, wide overloads and Wirtz as number 10

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola is implementing tactics learned from Marcelo Bielsa, his former Athletic Club manager. Full-backs push into the final third, wide overloads create two-v-twos near the box, and Florian Wirtz drifts from the number 10 role to the left flank. Iraola still uses Bielsa's ball-work exercises, he told Sky Sports in 2023.
