Louison-Roe wins world U20 high jump gold — a first for Australia's Olympic-calibre trio
Izobelle Louison-Roe cleared 1.92m on her first attempt to win women's high jump gold at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene on 9 August, beating Hungary's Lilianna Bátori by 2cm. The 19-year-old is the first of Australia's current Olympic-calibre high jump trio — including Paris 2024 medallists Nicola Olyslagers and Eleanor Patterson — to win a world under-20 title.
