Geelong's board held a crisis meeting on Monday, August 10, to finalise the club's reply to the AFL's "please explain" over a secret concussion waiver signed by defender Jake Kolodjashnij in 2024. The waiver shifted legal liability for future brain trauma onto the player. President Grant McCabe confirmed the submission is due by close of business Tuesday, August 11.
