Tex Walker to retire at end of 2026 season

Adelaide Crows forward Taylor "Tex" Walker will retire at season's end. The 36-year-old Broken Hill product has played 316 matches across 19 seasons and kicked 706 goals — a club record. Walker captained Adelaide from 2015 to 2019, leading the Crows to the 2017 grand final. He earned All-Australian honours in 2023.
