Malawi will play at a Women's World Cup for the first time after coming from behind to beat Ghana 2-1 in their Wafcon quarter-final in Morocco. Temwa Chawinga and Rose Kadzere scored for a side ranked 153rd in the world. Reaching the semi-finals of Wafcon, Africa's qualifying tournament, secured their place at the 2027 finals in Brazil.
