Audrey Werro ran 1:53.98 to beat Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson in June — the third-fastest women's 800m in history. The four fastest women of 2026 now converge on the European Championships in Birmingham, starting 10 August: Britain's first in the event's 92-year history. Hodgkinson, 24, calls the home spotlight "motivation, not pressure."
