Vollering wins Tour de France Femmes amid bitter feud with Niewiadoma

Demi Vollering won the 2026 Tour de France Femmes on 9 August, her second title, by 1:18 over Kasia Niewiadoma. The win came after Niewiadoma accused Vollering's teammate Célia Gery of blocking her on Stage 8. Gery received death threats online. On the final climb of the Col d'Èze, Vollering wagged her finger at Niewiadoma mid-discussion, then attacked 600 metres from the summit.
