Hoffmann's Yazz Takes Top Two Alliance 4 Development Prizes at Locarno Pro

Florian Hoffmann's Yazz won the two main Alliance 4 Development prizes at the 2026 Locarno Pro Awards on 9 August, beating 10 projects. The Nebel Studios Award ($37,678) and Studio13/Valais Award ($14,825) give the Swiss-German-French co-production roughly $52,500 in studio time and camera gear — in-kind resources, not cash. Yazz is planned for release in Q4 2028.
