Fulham agree £30m deal for Southampton's Shea Charles — record fee for a Northern Irish player

Fulham have agreed a deal worth up to £30m for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles, per BBC Sport. The 22-year-old, who began his career at Manchester City, will sign a five-year contract at Craven Cottage pending a medical. The fee surpasses every previous transfer involving a Northern Irish footballer. Leeds United had also expressed interest.
