14-man Wallabies survive Japan heat and red card for first win under Les Kiss

Australia ended a seven-Test losing streak in Les Kiss's first match as head coach, beating Japan 35-32 at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka. Miles Amatosero's first-half red card left the Wallabies a man short for most of the game in 32°C heat. The win, Australia's first in the new Nations Championship, moved them off eight consecutive defeats dating to October 2025.
