Children of Blood and Bone author Tomi Adeyemi says she will not watch the finished film

Author Tomi Adeyemi told the MVAAFF on 8 August 2026 she will not watch Paramount's Children of Blood and Bone, set for 15 January 2027. Adeyemi, credited as screenwriter and executive producer, said she left the set "hyperventilating and sobbing" and is "still being antagonized behind the scenes." The fracture follows colourism complaints over Amandla Stenberg's casting. (Variety)
