Simpson reclaims British and Commonwealth titles, avenges only defeat

Callum Simpson reclaimed the British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles by unanimous decision (116-112, 117-112, 115-113) over Troy Williamson on 8 August 2026 in Leeds. The win avenges Williamson's 10th-round stoppage last December — Simpson's only professional loss. Simpson, now 19-1, fought under new trainer Rob McCracken. Promoter Ben Shalom hopes to secure a world-title shot within 12 months.
