Gluck embraces "sex Purge" label for Universal rom-com One Night Only

Director Will Gluck told SlashFilm he is "very aware" of online discourse calling Universal's romantic comedy One Night Only the "sex Purge," and called the comparison to Blumhouse's franchise "rightfully so." The film, now in US theatres, is set in a dystopian America under a "chastity mandate" making premarital sex legal one night a year. Gluck said his focus was characters, not the premise, and expects blowback.
