Rashford back in Manchester United squad after 19-month exile

Marcus Rashford has rejoined Manchester United's squad for their pre-season trip to Ireland, per BBC Sport. He has not played for United since December 2024, when a falling-out with then-manager Ruben Amorim led to loans at Aston Villa and Barcelona. Barcelona declined a £26m buy option. Rashford could face AC Milan in Wroclaw on 15 August. His old number 10 shirt now belongs to Matheus Cunha.
