Vollering leads Tour de France Femmes by eight seconds over Niewiadoma ahead of final stage

Demi Vollering won stage 8 of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes on the Cote de la Ginistiere descent to Nice, seizing the yellow jersey from Kasia Niewiadoma by eight seconds with one stage remaining. Vollering lost to Niewiadoma by four seconds in 2024 — the narrowest defeat in any Tour de France history. The final stage covers four climbs of the Col d'Eze in Nice.
