King Charles's senior butler Bernie Flannery to stand down after 40 years

Bernie Flannery, one of King Charles's most senior household staff, is to stand down this weekend after 40 years of service. Flannery joined Charles's staff in the early 1990s after serving aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia. His departure was first reported by royal author Robert Jobson on his Substack page. No successor has been named publicly.
