Sadie Sink makes her MCU debut as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and set for theatrical release on 31 July 2026. Stunt designer Peng Zhang choreographed the climax so 20 Hand ninjas move as one bird — central ninja as the Phoenix head, flanking ninjas as wings — channelling Grey's comic-book ties to the Phoenix, Variety reported on 8 August 2026. The sequence was shot at Dorchester Prison in Dorset, England.
