Huddersfield Giants to leave Accu Stadium after 32 years for Dewsbury's Flair Stadium

Huddersfield Giants will leave their 24,500-capacity Accu Stadium — home since 1994 — for Dewsbury Rams' 5,100-capacity Flair Stadium in 2027. Director Rebecca Jackson confirmed over £10m in upgrades to the Dewsbury ground, 10 miles away. The move is framed as medium-term while the club pursues a purpose-built home in Huddersfield, the birthplace of rugby league. The Guardian reported in June that without a new stadium, the town could lose its top-flight team by 2030.
